Eric, I was lucky enough to meet this photog, Phil Nicklin, at Half Moon Island in the High Arctic. Our ship picked him (and his assistant) up after they spent three weeks on a completely remote islet in Svalbard. After detoxing (like a shower) for three days, he gave several lectures on our trip about wildlife, life, nature, etc. He is an amazing guy. He said being underwater in his wetsuit is like having brain freeze on your whole body. He grew up above the Arctic Circle.
