So, I’ve known my mom for the past 30 or so (ahem) years… And yet she still manages to come up with gems like this…
We were supposed to be meeting today for lunch, but I was still experiencing some side-effects from antibiotics (i.e. didn’t want to venture too far from the john, if you know what I mean… And if you don’t, it means I had the shits.) So, I called to let her know I’d have to take a rain-check… When we got off the phone, she wished me a quick recovery from the “green apple two-step.”
How could I have gone my whole life without having heard this euphemism before? Needless to say, I’m delighted to add it to my vocabulary…
Ha! Ha! What?! I have NEVER heard of this! My mom always say stuff like this too but with a Desi Arnez accent. I, of course, am “Lucy.”
OMG, I’ve never heard that one either but it’s so Mom! Hilarious!
MB said her family called it the green apple quick step.
but aren’t they hill-folk..?
